Woven Veil is a light, luminous take on traditional limewash, applied over a pale plaster base using a delicate cross-hatching technique. Unlike more opaque finishes, this surface emphasizes transparency and softness, creating a subtly layered, airy appearance that shifts with light. Ideal for interiors seeking a luminous, refined texture, Woven Veil brings depth and gentle movement while maintaining a light, elegant feel.

Recommended Substrates

  • Interior walls and ceilings only

  • Not suitable for exterior use

  • Not recommended for wet areas unless protected with an ultra low-sheen varnish

Color Recommendations

  • Works best with light to light/mid-tone shades

  • Enhances natural light and creates soft, airy environments

  • Ideal for rooms where subtle luminosity is desired

Varnish Recommendations

  • Compatible with all varnish sheens

  • Flat varnish preserves transparency while offering light wipeability

  • Eggshell or low-sheen varnish can be used for moisture-prone spaces

Interior / Exterior Capacity

  • Interior only

  • Works beautifully in light-filled rooms, bedrooms, and powder rooms

  • Not suitable for exterior surfaces

Patch-ability

  • Not fully patchable without visible variation
