WASHED PLASTER

Washed Plaster features a neutral, colorless plaster base enhanced with faint washes of transparent color. Unlike more opaque finishes, it emphasizes softness, depth, and subtle variation, creating a luminous, airy surface that feels light and refined. This finish works beautifully in interiors where gentle, understated color and texture are desired, and it interacts softly with natural and artificial light to enhance the space’s atmosphere.

Recommended Substrates

  • Interior walls and ceilings only

  • Not suitable for exterior surfaces

  • Wet areas only when protected with ultra-low sheen or eggshell varnish

Color Recommendations

  • Works best with light to light/mid-tone colors

  • Provides subtle, transparent washes that enhance a soft, airy aesthetic

  • Ideal for rooms seeking understated depth and refined elegance

Varnish Recommendations

  • Compatible with any varnish sheen

  • Lightly wipeable without varnish

  • Ultra low-sheen or eggshell varnish makes the surface fully wipeable and suitable for higher-traffic or moisture-prone areas

Interior / Exterior Capacity

  • Interior walls and ceilings only

  • Suitable for powder rooms, bedrooms, or any interior space benefiting from soft, transparent color
